The tea towels are made from 100% cotton and hemmed on 4 sides. Each tea towel is screen printed in the UK with our original Cape Penguin print surface designs.
This design features our Cape Penguin print design the best-selling, originally developed from a single screen print, which is accompanied by digitally designed triangles in different shades of blue. Something a little different to dry pots with!
Each design is hand finished in Sheffield with a kraft branded band around the middle and folded - it's also a perfect gift !
Penguin tea towel
The Owlery was founded by printmaker and textile artist Benjamin Partridge in late 2013. Specializing in screen printing and surface pattern design, Benjamin creates homewares and gifts with original surface patterns.
Benjamin handcrafts most items in-house on vintage and modern industrial machinery, but where he works with manufacturers he takes pride in working with UK-based manufacturers, promoting the continued development and survival of British industry.
Benjamin proudly works from his Yorkshire ArtSpace studio in Sheffield, home to over 160 artists and creators.
